Chess Club

Overview:
Chess Club allows students to develop strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and sportsmanship through competitive and recreational play.  Whether you are new to chess and want to learn to play or you are an experienced player, this is the place for you.  We participate in tournaments fairly regularly, usually on weekends.  During our meetings, we typically look at a few puzzles, attempt to see new strategies, and play games to hone our skills.  Our meeting schedule is every Tuesday after school until 4:30.
