ACT Testing Schedule
ACT Testing Opportunities for Students
The ACT is offered multiple times throughout the school year to give students several opportunities to take the test and improve their scores. At our high school, we provide two free opportunities to take the ACT during the school day. In addition, students may register for national test dates, which are offered on Saturdays throughout the year.
Free In-School ACT Test Dates
As part of our commitment to student success, all OHS juniors and seniors have access to two free ACT tests offered during the school day at OHS:
-
Senior Retake Day OCTOBER 16, 2025 – Each fall, all 12th-grade students retake the ACT at school for free to improve their scores.
- Junior ACT Day MARCH 10, 2026 – Every spring, all 11th-grade students take the ACT during a regular school day, free of charge.
These school-day tests are automatically scheduled: you don’t have to register or pay a fee. Our counselors will ensure students and families are informed of the exact dates in advance.
Plan Ahead
We encourage students to test early and often. Taking the ACT multiple times can help improve scores, strengthen college applications, and increase scholarship opportunities.
-
Register early to secure your preferred location and date.
-
Use school-based practice tools and prep resources to feel confident on test day.
-
Retaking the ACT is common and many students improve their scores the second or third time around.
