  • Senior Exams will be May  7 thru 10th. Seniors who are exempt from all exams will not need to return to campus. They must, however, attend graduation practice at MTSU. Seniors are required to attend school the entire school day when they have final exams.
               May 7 - 1st and 5th Periods
               May 8 - 2nd and 6th Periods
               May 9 - 3rd and 7th Periods
               May 10th - Early day, 4th and 8th Periods
 
               Final Exam Exemption Guide -- There is no distinction between excused and unexcused absences. 
               Absences for school - related activities do not count against students. Exams will not be administered
               early.

GRADUATION  INFO
  • Dress Code Information 
                * Any color button-down dress shirt with a collar and a tie (any color, regular tie or bow tie) black dress
                  pants and black dress shoes.
                * Dress or skirt/blouse that does not show above or below gown and solid black dress shoes - heels or
                  flats. If dress pants pr a longer dress/skirt are worn, they MUST be a solid black.
                * NO FLIP FLOPS, CHACOS, COMBAT BOOTS OR ATHLETIC SHOES MAY BE WORN
                * NO Hat decorations allowed
  • MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE
            Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 8:00 AAM at MTSU's Murphy Center
             You MUST be in school dress code. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAP AND GOWN.
  • GRADUATION CEREMONY
              Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 7:00 PM, MTUS Murphy Center
              Graduates need to be in dress code for check in at 6:00 PM     

 

ACTIVITIES
  • If a senior failed to come pick up their Cap & Gown, they will need to go to the Counseling Office to pick them up.  If you owe money, cash only with correct amount.
  • Seniors: Cords are on sale this week in the Patriot Bank for $10. The bank will be open all four lunches.
  • Greenhouse sale is now going on! Monday thru Friday, the green house is open 8:00 - 4:00 PM with Saturdays  8:00 Am - 12:00 PM.
  • Yearbooks will be passed out next Thursday, May 2nd. during all four lunches in the main cafeteria. If students or parents purchased a yearbook, you will pick up your book from the table that your LAST NAME is assigned to. If you have yet to purchase a book, that day is the last day to buy in person! Any questions, pleae reach out to Ms. Carlson.
 
 
SPORTS
  • Soccer plays Blackman there today starting at 7:00 PM and play Nolensville at home tomorrow.
  • Baseball plays RiIverdale tonight at home with first pitch at 6:00 PM.
  • Softball plays Blackman at 6:00 PM here tonight.
  • Dance Team Tryouts Information              
              Clinic - May 8th and 9th, 3:30 - 5:30 PM in Annex Cafeteria

FFA

  • The OHS greenhouses is now OPEN! We will be open weekdays from 8:00 - 4:00 and Saturdays 8:00 - Noon. There will be a large variety of spring bedding plants and vegetables including Petunias, Coleus, Lantana, Geraniums, Marigolds, Calibrachoa, Verbena, Ferns, Tomatoes and Peppers. Pricing start at $3.00.
     To access the greenhouse, take the access road behind the annex and park outside the gate.

              April 25       Jazz & Percussion Ensembles Concert, OHS Main Cafeteria, 6:30 pm

              April 26       Jazz Ensemble Performance, The Fountains Jazz Fest, 8:30 PM

              April 30       Spring Band Concert, OHS Gym, 6:30 PM

  • Musical Theatre Showcase will be on April 20th at Oakland Middle School starting at 7:00 PM.
  • Spring Choir Concerts will be on May 6th at 7:00 PM at First United Methodist Church located on Thompson Lane.

        main cafeteria.
