Oakland High School Summer Hours
The Oakland High School Main Office will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. throughout the summer.
The Counseling Office will be available Wednesday mornings in June from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
For the safety and security of our campus, all visitors must enter through the Main Office.
Please Note: Oakland High School will be closed June 22-July 10. During this time, offices will not be staffed, and phone calls and emails may not receive an immediate response.

OHS Receives Letter Grade 'A' from TN Department of Education.
The calculation to generate A-F letter grades for schools includes four separate indicators—student achievement, student academic growth, growth of the highest need students and college and career readiness. For the second year in a row, Oakland High School earned the highest grade of an 'A'!

ATTENDANCE FORM REQUIRED FOR STUDENT DRIVERS:
Rutherford County students seeking to obtain a driver's license permit, or a regular license must obtain a Certificate of Compliance (SF 1010) form using the link below. The Certificate of Compliance is based on a student's attendance. If requested during the summer, it is valid until school resumes in August. Certificate of Compliance (SF1010) forms must be obtained IN PERSON from the Rutherford County Board of Education (2240 Southpark Drive, Murfreesboro) by the student or parent/guardian BEFORE going to the Driver Services Center. Forms CAN NOT be faxed or emailed to the Driver Services Center.
Forms may be picked up AFTER 3:30 pm on the date of request if requested by 3pm. *No forms will be printed for walk-ins.*

The 2026 RCS Summer Meal program starts June 2 and any child under 18 can participate. Breakfast and lunch will be available June 2-July 24 with curbside and dine-in options available. For ages 18 and up, breakfast is $2.50 and lunch is $4.25 (exact change only).
With gratitude and admiration, RCS honors our newest retirees. With nearly 730 years of combined service to Rutherford County Schools, they will be missed.
