The OHS Dance Team Clinic/Tryouts for the 2022-2023 Team took place in May in the OHS Annex Cafeteria. We advertised our tryout on the OHS Web Page scrolling announcements in April and May 2022. Our next tryout will be for the 2023-2024 team. The details on dates and times of the Informational Meeting for candidates and parents and the actual clinic & tryout for the 2023-2024 team will be communicated on the OHS Web Site starting in March 2023. All candidates must be enrolled at Oakland High School and must have a current TSSAA Medical Physical prior to attending the clinic & tryout. Details will be advertised soon on the OHS Web Site scrolling announcements. Thanks for your interest in the OHS Dance Team!
July Summer Conditioning Schedule 2022. In the annex cafeteria 9am-10am on the following dates:
Tuesday July 12th
Thursday July 14th
Tuesday July 19th
(No conditioning on Thursday July 21: Coach Bo and Coach Gillespie will be at the High School Summer Summit)
Tuesday July 26th
Thursday July 28th: UNIFORMS will be issued on this date.
Practice Schedule for August and the rest of the season TBA.
OAKLAND FOOTBALL MEDIA DAY: All dancers will need to meet in the Annex Cafeteria at 7AM on Saturday July 30th. Our photo shoot time on the field is 7:15 AM. We will determine what uniform we will be wearing on Thursday July 28th. If a dancer is unable to meet on the 28th to receive her uniforms, she must contact Coach Bo in order to determine a private pick up time before Media event on the 30th.
Uniform for Media Day: Varsity Blue V Neck Shell Top, Black A-line Skirt, Black Shoes (of any type since not everyone has their sideline shoes delivered yet), Rhinestone Ear Posts, and hair down looking your best. See you in the annex cafeteria at 7AM Saturday June 30th!
